What makes SilkNook enclosures different?

SilkNook enclosures are designed with jumping spiders' natural behaviors in mind. They feature privacy-focused side walls, lightly sandblasted surfaces for improved grip, naturalistic forest backgrounds, cross-flow and upper ventilation, and convenient front and top access.

What enclosure sizes are available?

We offer two sizes:

Small: 3.5" × 5" × 4.5"
Standard: 4" × 4" × 7"

The best choice depends on your spider's species, size, and developmental stage.

Do SilkNook enclosures include lighting?

Our enclosures are available individually or bundled with the SilkNook Halo Magnetic LED Light. The Halo light is also sold separately.

What is the Halo Magnetic LED Light?

Our Halo light features 5000K daylight illumination, a matte black housing, and convenient magnetic attachment. It's designed to complement SilkNook enclosures and illuminate naturalistic and bioactive setups.

Are SilkNook enclosures suitable for bioactive setups?

Yes! SilkNook enclosures can accommodate appropriately planned bioactive setups. Be sure to consider drainage, ventilation, moisture levels, and the specific needs of your spider.

Are the enclosures suitable for spiderlings?

Suitability depends on the spiderling's size. Very small spiderlings may require specialized enclosures with appropriately sized ventilation and openings to prevent escapes.

Do you ship outside the United States?

We offer international shipping to supported destinations, including the United Kingdom. Available shipping options and costs are displayed at checkout.

How long does shipping take?

What if my order arrives damaged?
